State Senator Phil Berger and credit union leaders join members in celebrating community and connections.

At Piedmont Advantage Credit Union today, the mood was joyful, familiar and grateful. Members stopped by to reconnect with their credit union family, meet with leadership and celebrate what makes Piedmont Advantage more than just a place to bank.

The day featured visits from Piedmont Advantage’s President & CEO Dion Williams, North Carolina Senate leader Phil Berger, R-Rockingham, and Dan Schline, President & CEO of the Carolinas Credit Union League, who joined in the celebration of the Eden community and the members who make it shine.

One of the most celebrated moments of the day was the official introduction of Stephanie “Ruby” Rubio as Eden’s new branch manager. A familiar face to many, Rubio has been part of the Piedmont Advantage family for nearly six years, and her promotion was met with enthusiastic smiles and heartfelt congratulations from members who know her well.

“Ruby’s leadership is already woven into the fabric of this branch,” said Williams. “To see our members so excited for her next chapter, and to see her step into it with such confidence and care, was one of the day’s highlights.”

The event also featured plenty of Piedmont Advantage-style hospitality with snacks, sandwiches, swag for all ages and genuine conversation that felt more like catching up with friends than a member appreciation event.

The Eden branch event is part of Piedmont Advantage’s series of Member Appreciation Days throughout its six Triad and Charlotte branches.

“These days are designed to recognize and thank the people at the center of everything the credit union does: its members,” Williams said.
